 For the uninitiated, MAGIC: THE GATHERING (M:TG) is the trading card game created by former math professor Richard Garfield and published by Wizards of the Coast. Players play out the battles between powerful wizards, using spells and summoning armies to fight one another, on the world of Dominia. Players build their own custom deck from trading cards, so planning what strategy to play before the game is just as important as what is played during the game. M:TG has been out for about three years now, with "expansion" sets to increase the card pool released periodically. With over a thousand different cards, strategic possibilites are endless.
