All are W.W. Norton titles available from the publisher or orderable at any bookstore. LOCALTIME, William Morrow, was a winner of The National Poetry Series in 1986. His books published with Carnegie-Mellon University Press are NOT DANCING, WORK & LOVE, A CIRCUS OF NEED and FULL OF LUST AND GOOD USUAGE. LOOKING FOR HOLES IN THE CEILING was published by the University of Massachusetts Press. A book of his prose, WALKING LIGHT: ESSAY & MEMOIRS, was published by Norton in 1993, A book of prose poems: Riffs and Reciprocities was brought out by Norton in spring of 1998. Dunn has received an Academy Award in Literaure from The American Academy of Arts & Letters and Fellowships from the Guggenheim and Rockerfeller Foundations as well as three National Endowment Awards in Creative Writing. His latest book won the Pultizer Prize for Poetry, 2001. He is a Distinguished Artist Fellowship winner from the NJ Council on the Arts, and is currently a Trustee in the Arts and Professor of Creative Writing at Richard Stockton College in New Jersey. SKYLANDS WRITERS & ARTISTS ASSOCIATION, INC., A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROMOTING LITERARY ART, AND CENTENARY COLLEGE, ARE CO-SPONSORING THE EVENT, WHICH IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, MADE POSSIBLE BY A GRANT FROM THE NEW JERSEY COUNCIL FOR THE HUMANITIES, A STATE PROGRAM OF THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE HUMANITIES. Stephen Dunn will be introduced by his former student, BJ Ward, a poet of Warren County. The event will be hosted by American Book Award winning poet, Daniela Gioseffi, founding president of SWAA, and Nancy & Spencer Reed, a classic jazz duo, will provide musical interludes. |
